Where AFP goes next
The book ends where this course has been heading: one connected thread from design through process planning, manufacturing and inspection, closed into a data-driven loop, built on hybrid models: physics plus data. Every chapter of the course sits somewhere on that loop. What's left is effort and openness: making AFP more accessible, affordable, capable and IT-integrated.
Predict · at 0:47 in the video
One model knows the physics but has the constants slightly wrong. Another has eight real tests, all in one corner. Which predicts best across the whole range?
Neither on its own. Put them together. The physics model has the right shape, but it's shifted, and it misses a loss mechanism.

Simulations in this lesson are our own. Where the numbers are invented to show a mechanism, the video says so on screen.
