The room matters too
The layup program can be identical and the laminate still changes, because the room changes. Temperature and humidity move tack, and tack is what makes a tow stay put. The book's targets: about 21 ± 3 °C (70 ± 5 °F) and about 40 % humidity.

But there's a catch. The room is twenty-one degrees at forty percent humidity. How cold can you make the head before it starts to sweat?
Warm air can hold more water than cold air. This curve is the most it can hold, at each temperature. Our room, at forty percent, holds less than half of its maximum.
