How AFP parts get certified
Certification is statistics climbing a pyramid. Thousands of cheap tests at the bottom buy the statistical confidence that a handful of expensive tests at the top can't. The number a designer actually uses, the allowable, is set by the scatter and the number of tests, and for AFP it has to come from panels that carry AFP's own defects.
