Applications

The ADD Filament Winding System is used wherever a part is wound around an axis and the economics of a dedicated winding line do not work — typically pressure vessels, sleeves, inserts and other tubular or axisymmetric structures.

Hydrogen and CNG pressure vessels: towpreg and wet winding of Type III and Type IV vessel overwraps, including non-geodesic paths that avoid thickness build-up on the dome ends.
